[Dual Post]

So, you fifth-rates, this is a rather dumb question, but how do you look up registers if you don't know where to look?

::You can come across a net cafe. Which seems suspiciously barren. Any customers in there seem scared, and the waitresses seem apprehensive. At the center seems to be a rather small pale girl with a laptop, drinking tea. Perhaps you should bother her::

Is it because of my existence?

[identity profile] memoryistime.livejournal.com 2011-10-11 03:18 pm (UTC)(link)
My existence is nothing special. There are many like me, due to the circumstances of contractual obligations. Some who have been in this state for much longer than I have.

[identity profile] imajin-all-the.livejournal.com 2011-10-12 01:35 am (UTC)(link)
... I don't even know what to ask without sounding stupid here.

[identity profile] memoryistime.livejournal.com 2011-10-12 03:49 am (UTC)(link)
It has been more than fifty years. Up until the last year, my soul has been in the service of a fiend in Makai, who is now deceased. It is suspected that my more solidified state on this dimensional plane is only due to the unique properties concerning Japan at this current time. My spirit is more monster than human due to contractual obligations.

Does that answer the basics?

[identity profile] imajin-all-the.livejournal.com 2011-10-13 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
... I suppose. Again. It feels... strange to ask questions. ... Do you enjoy it to any degree?

[identity profile] memoryistime.livejournal.com 2011-10-13 04:55 am (UTC)(link)
I can not say if it is enjoyable, since it is something that I have become adapted to, though certain circumstances can make it frustrating, due to my inability to experience sensations.

I can not taste, feel, or smell, and my hearing and sight are below average. However, as a result, I can not truly feel pain as well. Any injury to this... ... "Shell" of a body are immediately dealt with.

[identity profile] imajin-all-the.livejournal.com 2011-10-13 07:06 am (UTC)(link)
... I envy you. I still feel hunger pains and aching joints every moment.

[identity profile] memoryistime.livejournal.com 2011-10-13 04:53 pm (UTC)(link)
The idea to envy one such as myself is beyond me. You are most likely inside of a body still, if you are capable of physical reactions such as those.

Were you given one to be in?

[identity profile] imajin-all-the.livejournal.com 2011-10-13 10:52 pm (UTC)(link)
... Original body... and... Duel Spirit... after... ::She seems to quiet down.::

[identity profile] memoryistime.livejournal.com 2011-10-13 11:09 pm (UTC)(link)
... Ah. So you are partially a "Duel Spirit", as well.

I am one myself, but that is due to the terms of the contract that I am under.

[identity profile] memoryistime.livejournal.com 2011-10-14 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
I see.

You are obviously uncomfortable with it.

[identity profile] imajin-all-the.livejournal.com 2011-10-14 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
... it's complicated. extremely.

[identity profile] memoryistime.livejournal.com 2011-10-14 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
Complication or simplicity, death should not be something to dwell upon.

However, you seem interested in those who share your fate.

*he hasn't looked at you once this entire time, still walking*

[identity profile] imajin-all-the.livejournal.com 2011-10-14 04:04 am (UTC)(link)
::... I don't mind.:: Is there a problem with that?

[identity profile] memoryistime.livejournal.com 2011-10-14 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
I find it... Curious.

Your own circumstances make you uneasy, yet you are attracted to those who share your fate.

Is it because you wish to know how they dealt with their situation, or because you wish to know if it something you should enjoy, or despair towards?

[identity profile] imajin-all-the.livejournal.com 2011-10-14 05:30 am (UTC)(link)
... I hated being alive in my first life. I could only focus on being dead... so...

[identity profile] memoryistime.livejournal.com 2011-10-14 06:11 am (UTC)(link)
But now that you have it, are you satisfied?

[identity profile] imajin-all-the.livejournal.com 2011-10-14 07:23 am (UTC)(link)
... yes. but... i sort of want to know who she... i... was.

[identity profile] memoryistime.livejournal.com 2011-10-14 03:13 pm (UTC)(link)
... You do not hold certainty to who you were before?

[identity profile] imajin-all-the.livejournal.com 2011-10-14 05:34 pm (UTC)(link)
... ... not entirely. I... remember... hanging myself. ... or she hanged herself.

[identity profile] memoryistime.livejournal.com 2011-10-14 06:08 pm (UTC)(link)
I see.

You may have experienced shock when the death occurred. It would explain your uncertainty to your identity.

[identity profile] memoryistime.livejournal.com 2011-10-14 10:14 pm (UTC)(link)
*finally stares at you. with that look.* Death, regardless of whether you wanted it or not, is a mental trauma, especially when your consciousness persists after the event.
